
TOPEKA (KSNT) – Kansas Democratic Governor Laura Kelly has signed a bell-to-bell cell phone ban for schools in the Sunflower State on Thursday.
Kelly has signed off on House Bill 2299 on March 19, putting into effect a cell phone ban in the state’s schools. This comes after lawmakers in both major political parties gave their support to the prohibition on cell phones earlier in the legislative session.
