NEW BRITAIN, CT (WFSB) - A new ruling by the Los Angeles Unified School District will force its schools to limit screen time for all students and ban devices entirely for students younger than second grade.
Connecticut schools face a deadline on a similar decision that would implement cellphone restrictions starting in the fall.
“What if we didn’t have our phones?” asked Shanae Thompson, an 11th grade student at New Britain High School.
Thompson said most of her classmates would not know the answer to that question.
