Hawaiʻi Schools’ New Cellphone Ban Is Here. What Are Teens Saying?

SPRINGFIELD, MA (WGGB/WSHM) -- Students could be required to put away cell phones and other personal devices for the entire school day under legislation passed by the Massachusetts House and Senate.

Senate Bill 2581 and House Bill 5366 would prohibit personal devices from the time students arrive at school until the dismissal bell rings. The restrictions would apply to smartphones, tablets, and gaming devices.
