MILLIONS of Americans have mere days until a new cell phone ban is coming into effect.

The law, which will go into effect on July 1, will completely change how school systems operate.

Schools across California will soon be required to create new policies that stop students from using their phones.

California’s Assembly Bill 3216 will go into effect on July 1.

The bill will impact every school district, county office of education, and charter school in the state.

The bill, also known as the Phone-Free School Act, was signed into law by California Governor Gavin Newsom in 2024.
