
GRAY, Ga. — As Georgia students head back to the classroom, many will have to put their phones away for the entire day. A law banning cell phone use for kindergarten through eighth grade students is now in effect.
The policy is nothing new to students at Clifton Ridge Middle School In Jones County. They haven't been able to use them during the day for the past four years. Sixth Grade English Teacher Haley Underwood said before that, they were a big problem.
