
HARTFORD, Conn. — Legislators made progress Friday at the Connecticut State Capitol while working on a bill that looks to ban cellphone use in schools.
Members of the Connecticut Education Association, the biggest teachers union in the state, are also voicing support for the proposal.
Right now, public school districts are allowed to choose their own policies for phones.
